Fixing the “page not found” error (404)

In some cases, you might encounter a 404 error when trying to access your portfolio page. This error usually indicates that the requested page could not be found on the server. Fortunately, resolving this issue is often quite simple. Follow these steps to fix the 404 error:

  1. First, navigate to your WordPress dashboard. In the left-hand menu, find the “Settings” option and click on it.
  2. From the Settings submenu, select “Permalinks.”
  3. On the Permalinks settings page, you don’t need to change any settings. Simply click on the “Save Changes” button located at the bottom of the page.

By saving the changes, WordPress will automatically update and refresh the permalink structure, which should resolve the 404 error you encountered. This is a common solution for fixing broken links and missing pages in WordPress.

If you’ve followed these steps and are still experiencing the 404 error, there might be other factors at play. In this case, we recommend reaching out to our support team for further assistance. They will help you identify and address any additional issues that may be causing the error.
